Men's Soccer Draws with Hartford

Milton, MA - The Curry Men's Soccer team hosted Hartford in a CNE matchup on Friday, playing to a 1-1 draw. The Colonels are now 6-7-2 overall, and 0-2-2 in CNE play, while the Hawks are 7-2-2 and 1-2-1.

Neither team scored in a first half that saw the Hawks outshoot the Colonels 10-7. But things changed early in the second, as the Hawks would grab a goal in the 57th minute. The Colonels would then go on the offensive immediately, and found an equalizer just minutes later in the 61st minute, as Kaden Puglia scored his third goal of the season, scoring off of a free kick. Neither team would score again, and the game would go into the books as a tie.

The Colonels outshot the Hawks 16-15, but Hartford held a large 8-2 corner kick advantage.

Curry goalie Brendan Cunningham made six saves in the game.

Up Next - The Colonels will next play on Tuesday when they travel to Gordon.
