Men’s Soccer Toppled by Thomas

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 2-0 by Thomas College in a non-conference collegiate men's soccer match Monday night at Walter M. Katz Field.

With the loss, the Colonels fall to an overall record of 5-7 while remaining 0-2 in Conference of New England play.

The Colonels took the 2-0 loss despite heavily outshooting their opponent by a margin of 21-11. Noah Doyens (Shelton, Conn.) took the reins offensively, ripping off nine total shots, four of which were on goal. Aiden Watts (Plaistow, N.H.) also had his chances, shooting three shots, two of them on goal.

Justin Ritz (Carver, Mass.) was the goalkeeper for the Colonels, making one save in the loss.

Curry College returns to conference play on Friday, October 4th, for a home match against Nichols beginning at 4 p.m.
