Boston, MA - The Curry Men's Soccer team fell in their CNE opener on Saturday, falling to Wentworth 2-0. The Colonels are now 5-4 on the season, and 0-1 in CNE play, while the Leopards move to 4-3-2 and 1-0.
The two teams played a very even first half, with the Leopards holding a slight shooting edge at 6-5, but neither team found the back of the net. That changed in the second half when WIT outshot the Colonels 10-2. While Curry goalie Brendan Cunningham was able to stop most of the shots, the Leopards put two past him to pick up the win.
Cunningham made nine saves in the match. Noah Doyens had two of the Colonels' three shots on goal.
Up Next - The Colonels will look to bounce back when they host Worcester State on Tuesday at 7pm.
