Milton, MA - The Curry Men's Soccer team defeated the Lasell Lasers on Tuesday by a final score of 1-0. With the win, the Colonels are now 2-1 on the season, while the Lasers are 0-2.

The Colonels found an early lead when Aiden Watts darted down the field and fired one past the Lasell keeper just over seven minutes into the game. That gave the Colonels a 1-0 lead that they would hold into halftime. In the second half, the Lasers outshot the Colonels 9-2, but the Colonels defense stayed strong, and held onto the 1-0 win.

Reigning CNE Defensive Player of the Week Brendan Cunningham had another strong outing. Just one game after setting a school record with 17 saves in a shutout win, Cunningham stopped 13 saves in this one. The 13 saves in a shutout are the fourth most saves in a shutout in program history since 2009 (year single game records go back to), trailing only his own performance on Sunday, and two 16 save performances in double overtime games.

Up Next - The Colonels will once again play at home on Friday when they host Colby-Sawyer at 6pm.
