MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College men's soccer team fell to Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Roger Williams University 5-1 Friday. This marks the Colonel's first loss in conference play this season.

With the loss, Curry drops to 0-1-1 in the conference and 2-2-3 overall on the season.

The Hawks found the back of the net on five occasions. Goal scorers included Jack Wetzel, Javi Beltran (2), John McCarthy, and Jack Wildermann.

The Colonels managed to net one quickly in the second half thanks to Zach Schultz (Walpole, Mass.). However, Curry was unable to seize another opportunity with Roger Williams' strong defensive side persisting for the remainder of the match.

The Colonels return to Walter M. Katz Field Sunday for another CCC matchup against Lasell University. Kick-off is set for 2:30 p.m.
