Johnson and Stott Named as CCC Defensive Players of the Week

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College junior goalkeeper Dan Johnson (Easton, Conn.) has been named as Commonwealth Coast Conference and ECAC Defensive Player of the Week.  Johnson collected 16 saves in 2-0 week for the Colonels. In a 2-0 victory over Salem State, he posted his third shutout of the season, grabbing five saves in the process. In a 2-1 triumph against Salve Regina in the CCC opener, Johnson made 11 saves. On the week, he allowed just one goal in 180 minutes of play, good for a 0.50 goals against average.

The Colonels are now 5-0 overall and 1-0 in the CCC. 

Curry College junior goalkeeper Morgan Stott (Dartmouth, Mass.) has been named as Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week.  Stott was solid between the pipes collecting 12 saves in a thrilling 1-0 overtime victory against Salve Regina. The shutout was her third consecutive clean sheet and Curry's fourth straight win.

The Colonels are now 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the CCC.
