Men's Soccer Claims #6 Seed in ECAC Tournament

DANBURY, Conn. -- After finishing the regular-season with a 13-6 record, Norwich University was selected as the No. 1 seed in the 2014 ECAC Division III New England Men's Soccer Championship. The tournament is an eight-team field with a quarterfinal round followed by a semifinal and championship round.

In the first-round contests on Wednesday, November 10, Norwich University (13-6) will host Lesley University (10-6), while the No. 7 seed Elms College (9-8) will travel to take on second seed, Endicott (9-7).  No. 3 Bridgewater State University (10-8) will play host to Curry College (10-9) and Colby Sawyer College (11-6) will take on Albertus Magnus College (11-6) in the No. 4/No. 5 match-up in New London, New Hampshire.

The first-round winners will advance to the semifinals on Saturday, November 15th, hosted by the highest remaining seed. The winner of Norwich University/Lesley University will face the winner of Colby Sawyer/Albertus Magnus College in one semifinal and the winner of Endicott College/Elms College and the winner of Bridgewater State/Curry College in the other semifinal. The semifinal winners will meet Sunday, November 16 for the championship at the same site.
