Men's Lacrosse Goes 0-2 on Spring Break Trip

Virginia Beach, VA - The Curry Men's Lacrosse team travelled to Virginia Beack, VA during spring break taking on Sage and Wabash. The Colonels fell to Sage by a score of 15-7 on Monday, and then to Wabash 14-10 on Wednesday. The Colonels are now 0-7 on the season.

Game One vs Sage

After a feeling out period, the Colonels scored two goals a minute apart from each other, with Nicholas Cole and Jed Cappuccino each finding the net. The Gators would score two of their own, and the first period ended with the score tied at two. Sage then dominated the second scoring five goals, to just one from the Colonels. They then outscored Curry 4-2 in each of the last two period. The lone Colonel to score multiple goals was Brody Dalzell, with two.

Game Two vs Wabash

Once again the Colonels struck first, this time Ryan McGillivray scoring just seconds into the game. The Colonels would score three more times in the opening period, twice from Brody Dalzell, and the last one by Jed Cappuccino. But the Little Giants scored five straight goals, and led 7-4 early in the third. The Colonels would get within two, but no closer. Dalzell scored three goals, while Mac Kline had two. Kyle Bouley recorded four caused turnovers.

Up Next - The Colonels will look to pick up a win back home when they host Rivier on Wednesday.
