
MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 18-5 by Salve Regina University in a non-conference collegiate men's lacrosse game Tuesday evening at Walter M. Katz Field.
With the loss, the Colonels fall to an overall record of 0-5 on the season.
Curry scored an early goal six minutes into the game when Kyle Bouley connected with Mac Kline who scored to give the home team an early 18-5. Nicholas Cole closed out the first quarter strong with an unassisted goal in the last minute, ending the quarter tied 2-2. Cole scored another unassisted goal late in the third to end the half trailing 7-3.
Kline was responsible for the rest of the Curry goals, scoring twice in the second half to earn the hat-trick. Kline's first second-half goal was assisted by Cole while his second one was scored in the last 25 seconds, assisted by goalie Logan Gibbons, who took over in the fourth and launched the ball over the entire Salve defense, connecting with Kline who finished the scoring play.
Curry College travels to Virginia Beach for a pair of games, starting with Sage on Monday, March 10th, beginning at 11 a.m.
