Men's Lacrosse Starts Season Off Beaten by Clark

Worcester, MA - The Curry Men's Lacrosse team fell in their season opener on Wednesday, falling to Clark 21-4. It was both team's first game of the season.

The Cougars scored three minutes into the game, and never looked back. They scored six unanswered goals before the Colonels scored their first goal 11 minutes into the second, as Nicholas Cole scored the first goal of the season for Curry. Mac Kline would score in the closing minute of the half, but the Colonels trailed 11-2 at the break. The second half was not much different, the colonels got two more goals from Cole before falling 21-4.

The Colonels have now lost five straight games against Clark, last beating the Cougars in 2010. Dating back to 1996 the Colonels are 7-9 against Clark.
