BIDDEFORD, Maine – Curry College freshman Evan Falandys (Leominster, Mass.) was named Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the sport of men's lacrosse, as announced by the league on Monday morning.

Falandys stopped 14 shots in goal for Curry as the Colonels opened up CCC play with a 10-9 win over Wentworth. He registered a 60.9 save percentage to earn the victory.

Falandys and Curry (2-0 overall, 1-0 CCC) will travel to Roger Williams University for its next contest on Wednesday, March 31 at 7:00 p.m.
