Men's Lacrosse Cruises to 21-11 Non-Conference Win at Husson
BANGOR, Maine - Husson University fell to Curry College, 21-11, in a home contest at Husson’s Boucher Field.  Joseph Natale led the Colonels with six goals and an assist. With the loss, Husson falls to 0-3 on the young season while Curry improves to 3-2.

Husson’s Matt Sweeney reached the scoreboard first followed by another unassisted goal by Chris Pelletier.  Andrew Navoni answered to put the Colonels on the board at the 8:13 mark.  The first period ended with a 4-3 Curry lead.  Curry continued to pull away in the second period, tallying five goals, with four of them unanswered.  At halftime, Curry led 10-5.

The visitors continued to pull away in the second half to earn the 21-11 victory.  In addition to Natale, Navoni contributed three goals, while Russell Lanham netted two.

Ben Landry tallied three goals for the host team, followed by Matt Sweeney and Chris Pelletier with two goals apiece.

Curry College will travel to Salve Regina this Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. contest, while Husson returns to action on Saturday hosting Wheaton at 1:30 p.m. (Game recap courtesy of Husson Sports Information)
