Milton, MA - After a 2-0-0 weekend sweep of Suffolk, the Curry Men's Hockey team rose to 5th in both the USCHO and DIIIHockeyNews.com rankings. Last week they were ranked 6th in both polls. The ranking of fifth matches the highest the Colonels have ranked in program history.
In both polls the Colonels sit just behind SUNY Genseo, trailing the Knights by less than 10 points in each poll.
After sweeping Suffolk by scores of 6-2 and 4-0, the Colonels are on a nine game winning streak.
The Colonels fell to #4 in the PairWise, behind only Hobart, Utica, and Aurora. The Colonels were jumped by Aurora, who swept a two game series with fellow top ten team Trine. The PairWise is what is used to determine the seeding in the NCAA Tournament.
The Colonels will take on Wentworth this weekend, including their Senior Day on Saturday.
