MILTON, Mass.— For the first time in his career, Curry College men's ice hockey sophomore forward Mic Curran (Arlington, Mass.) was named to the New England Hockey Writers' Association Division II-III All-Star Team.

The award wraps up a winter that saw Curran named as a First Team All-Conference selection by the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) and a semifinalist for the Joe Concannon Award.

Curran posted 11 goals, 35 assists and 46 points in 26 games this winter. He topped the CCC in assists, points, and plus-minus (+29). Curran led the Colonels in empty net goals (4), conference assists (27), and conference points (33). He hit several career milestones in the 2019-20 season, including a plus-25 ranking and 50 career points on Jan. 4 against Franklin Pierce, 50 career assists on Feb. 22 against Endicott, and tied for fourth in Curry College men's ice hockey history for assists in a season.  

Additionally, Curran finished fifth in all of Division III in points per game (1.77) and second in assists per game (1.35).

He enters his junior season with 70 points and 50 assists in 52 career games.
