Curry Hockey Volunteers For Milton Youth Hockey "Skate With the Colonels"

MILTON, Mass. - Each year, the Curry men's hockey team donates a "Skate with the Colonels" to the Milton Foundation of Education gala. This year the team put together a practice of skills and fun for a group of 10 year old hockey players from Milton. It was a great time and both teams won some new fans.

You can see the fun in these photos.

Skate with the Colonels is a small piece of the commitment to the Milton community for the men's hockey team. The highly anticipated Teddy Bear Toss brings together the Curry and Milton communities each season in support of children and families in need. Additionally, every Sunday morning, a group of enthusiastic Curry players volunteer to help out with the highly successful Learn to Skate program run by director, Bob Sweeney.

In 2014, the Curry men's hockey team won the prestigious Curry College Student Service Award for their outstanding contribution to the community.
