#12 Curry Tripped Up by Visiting Hobart College 4-2
MILTON, Mass. –  Hobart College scored the game-winner with 27 seconds left in the third period to defeat the #12 Curry Colonels, 4-2, in men's ice hockey action on Saturday afternoon in Milton.  The 12th- ranked Colonels have lost their last four games to fall to 7-4-1 on the season, while the Statesmen improve to 6-6-1.

     Curry outshot Hobart 14-9 in the first period and took a 1-0 lead off a goal from Steven Mohler.  Hobart would control most of the second period and at the 16:58 minute mark, senior Chris Cannizzaro scored to tie the game.  Curry would score early in the third period to take a 2-1 on a goal from George Isham. Hobart would answer back late in the period when senior Blake Bonham scored his first of the night.  With just 27 seconds left to play, Hobart's Cannizarro would score his second goal of the night to give his team a 3-2 lead, and senior Bobby Cahill would secure the win with an empty net goal with five seconds remaining in regulation.
    
     Freshman goaltender Nick Broadwater earned the win in net for the Statesmen making 38 saves.  Steven Jakiel made 39 saves in taking the loss.

     Curry's next game is away at Utica College on January 14 at 7:00 p.m. Hobart hosts Wentworth on January 15 for a 7:00 p.m contest.
