
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The 9th-ranked Curry College men’s hockey team lost to New England College in the consolation game of the Times-Argus Tournament, 3-2.
The Pilgrims got on the board first at 19:37 the first period. NEC scored their second goal of the night in the second period as Curry remained scoreless. Curry scored back-to-back goals less than a minute apart in the third period to even the score at 2-2. Junior Sean Mahoney and freshman Josh Kamrass were the goal scorers for the Colonels. The score remained tied until NEC scored the game winner at 10:11.
Senior goaltender Zachary Cardella made 38 saves. Curry has an overall record of 7-2-1.
