Oliver Vil joined the Curry College men’s basketball coaching staff prior to the start of the 2023-24 season.

Prior to joining the staff at Curry College, Coach O served as the head varsity boys' basketball coach at Oliver Ames High School in Easton, Mass. for two seasons. Prior to Oliver Ames, he was the head varsity coach at Walpole High School in Walpole Mass. from 2019 to 2021.

Vil, a Curry College alum, was a four-year starter and standout on the Colonels men’s basketball team. He was voted team captain during his junior and senior seasons, and won the Curry Pride Award during his senior season.

Currently, Coach O works at Dana Barros Basketball Club as the club’s AAU director while also coaching several of their AAU teams.

Vil also does individual basketball training and has organized and worked several basketball camps.

A native of Queens, N.Y., Coach O attended Martin Van Buren High School in Queens Village, N.Y. He played on the boys' varsity team for three years.
