
Curry College running back Montie Quinn (Goose Creek, S.C.) has more achievements to add to his expansive list as the junior earned three more major awards including Associated Press All-American Honors, Eastern College Athletic Conference All-ECAC Second Team Offense, and D3Football.Com All-Region 1 Offensive Player of the Year.
These awards come in addition to earning multiple postseason accolades, including a place on the 2024 AFCA DIII Coaches All-America Team, First-Team Conference of New England, the Joseph P. Zabilski Award, NEFW DII/DIII All-New England Team, and a semifinalist for the prestigious Gagliardi Trophy.
Quinn led Division III in rushing at the end of the regular season with 1,652 yards and was also first in rushing yards per game at 165.2. The 1,652 yards set a Curry single-season record. He also set a single-game rushing record at Curry with his 381-yard performance against Nichols in week 10. Quinn scored four rushing touchdowns in that game, giving him 13 on the season.

D3Football.Com Offensive Player of the Year
Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools, and schools and conferences were contacted multiple times as the season wound down to remind them to make their players eligible. In total, 1,210 players were nominated, a new high.
All-Region teams are selected in balloting by sports information directors in each region and D3football.com staff. All players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for the D3football.com All-America Team.

All-ECAC Second Team Offense
The Eastern College Athletic Conference is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II, and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments, and other competitions throughout the Northeast. The ECAC also hosts a comprehensive esports program that presently involves 160 schools fielding 1100 teams across 14 different esports games, streamed live four nights a week. The ECAC's esports platform has and continues to expand the geographic footprint of the Conference nationally.
