BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - For the second time in three weeks, sophomore Montie Quinn (Goose Creek, S.C.) has earned D3football.com Team of the Week honors.

Quinn set Curry College's all-time single season rushing record with a mammoth 272-yard performance on Saturday afternoon against Western New England. Quinn carried the ball 27 times, averaging 10.1 yards per rush, with three touchdown scampers. The three touchdowns clocked in at 76, 56, and 49 yards.

He was named CCC Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday for his efforts.

It is the second time this season that Quinn has earned recognition on the D3football.com Team of the Week, as he also received the honor on October 31. Before that, no Colonel had earned D3football.com Team of the Week recognition since Sean Crowley in 2006.
