Co-Offensive Player of the Year Quinn Highlights Football All-Conference Selections

BIDDEFORD, Maine - Five members of the Curry College football team were named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference All-Conference teams on Monday morning.

Highlighting the selections was sophomore Montie Quinn (Goose Creek, S.C.), who was named the CCC's Co-Offensive Player of the Year. He rushed the ball for a Curry program record 1,618 yards on the season for an average of 161.8 yards per game, and found the end zone nine times. He also earned a First Team All-Conference nod.

Freshman Colin Ridley (Peabody, Mass.) also earned a spot on the First Team All-CCC as a kick returner. He averaged 24.0 yards per return this season on 24 attempts, with a long of 75 yards.

Three defensive players earned spots on the All-Conference Second Team, sophomore Pete Jurovich (Winthrop, Mass.), senior Michael Sims (Baltic, Conn.), and graduate student Kevin Peete (Boston, Mass.).

Jurovich had 38 tackles on the year, with 5.5 sacks. He recorded one interception, one forced fumble, and two pass breakups, as well as blocking a kick.

Sims posted 87 tackles on the season, including 43 solo tackles. He also notched 2.5 tackles for loss and an interception.

Peete had 55 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss. He scooped up one fumble recovery and picked off one pass.
