BIDDEFORD, Maine - Montie Quinn (Goose Creek, S.C.), a freshman running back on the Curry College football team, was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Football Offensive Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Quinn had an enormous performance for the second week in a row for the Colonels on Saturday, lifting his team to a 33-25 victory over Dean College. Quinn's first rush attempt of the day early in the first quarter proved a harbinger of things to come, as he scampered 61 yards to the end zone to open the day en route to a 203-yard, two-touchdown performance in Curry's first win of the year.

Quinn and the Colonels will look to keep the ball rolling on Saturday as they return home for a 1 p.m. kickoff against Hilbert College at Walter M. Katz Field.
