BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. – The sixth Grinold Chapter New England Division III weekly rankings of the 2017 season have been released and the Curry College football team has moved into sole possession of seventh place. The Colonels stayed perfect in CCC Football play with a 17-7 victory over Endicott on Saturday afternoon.

The New England Division III Football Poll is presented by the Jack Grinold Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation, which also serves as the title sponsor of the weekly Gold Helmet Awards presented by the New England Football Writers Association throughout the season.

A 15-member panel representing all five New England Division III playing conferences will serve as voters in this year's poll, and rankings will be released each Monday afternoon through November 13. Curry head coach Skip Bandini is on this year's voting committee.

Plymouth State stays firm in third with 108 points and tallied the final first-place vote. Husson and Western Connecticut are tied for fourth place with 83 points to close out the top five.

Framingham State (78), Curry (72), Amherst (50), Western New England (38) and WPI (28) round out the bottom half of the poll.

The Colonels look to make it five straight wins when they host Western New England on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
