MILTON, Mass. - Curry College junior kick returner Richard Johnson (Framingham, Mass.) has been named as the New England Football Conference (NEFC) Special Teams Player of the Week and as the ECAC Division III Northeast Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance against M.I.T. on September 21, 2012.

Johnson had four kickoff returns for 155 total yards in the Colonels' 31-28 come from behind win over the Engineers. Just before halftime he ran back a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown giving Curry a 17-7 lead. He also had a 48 yard return in the third quarter.
