Curry Announces Addition of Men's Volleyball as 17th Varsity Sport

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the addition of men's volleyball as its 17th varsity athletic program.

The team will play its inaugural season in the 2024-25 academic year. The traditional NCAA Division III men's volleyball season runs from January to April.

"We are extremely excited to add men's volleyball to our list of sport offerings here at Curry College," said Director of Athletics Vinnie Eruzione. “The expansion of our athletic programs, which provide unique opportunities for talented and motivated student-athletes, is a priority for our College. We hope that this will inspire new men’s volleyball student-athletes to enroll at Curry College and be part of this great experience.”

Approximately 115 of Division III’s 436 member institutions, just over one-third, currently sponsor varsity men’s volleyball. Curry will join Endicott, Nichols, and Wentworth as the fourth Commonwealth Coast Conference core member to feature a varsity men’s volleyball program.
