WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Curry College women's cross country team brought five runners to the James Earley Invitational at Westfield State on Saturday morning. As a team, the Colonels collected a 27th place finish.
The top Colonel for the day was Haley Covillion (Bellow Falls, Vt.) who finished 175th with a time of 24:27. Three Colonels finished within five places of each other, with Phoebe Katz (Providence, R.I., 26:36) finishing at 198, Kelsie Rainone (Plainville, Mass., 26:39) crossing at place 200, and Karina Murcia (Culver City, Calif., 26:50) placing at 202. Ariana Boostrom (Rockland, Mass.) rounded out the team in spot 209, with a time of 27:36.
