Milton, MA - The Curry Women's Volleyball team was defeated by the Fisher Falcons on Wednesday in straight sets by a score of 25-16, 25-19, 25-11. The loss moves the Colonels to 0-3 on the season, while the Falcons are now 2-1.
The Colonels were led by Kyah Earls on offense, as she had nine kills in 25 attempts. Jess Sullivan also had success, as she had five kills on just eight attempts, giving her a match high 0.625 hitting percentage. Meghan Abbott was next with four kills, followed by Olivia DeForest's three. Two players were in the middle of most of those kills, as Emma St. Cyr had 11 assists, while Abby Sousa had seven. Defensively libero Phoebe Savas led the team with nine digs, one more than Sonja Matheson.
Up Next - The Colonels will travel to Southern Maine on Saturday for a tri-match that will also feature Colby-Sawyer.
