Bristol, RI - The Curry Women's Soccer team saw their season end on Tuesday with a loss to Roger Williams by a score of 2-0. The Colonels end the season with a 5-10-3 overall record, and 1-6-2 CNE record. The Hawks improved to 9-4-6 and 3-2-4.
The game was an even battle, as the Colonels edge the Hawks in shots, 13-9, and each team had three corner kicks. But the Hawks capitalized on their chances, and scoring in the 11th and 77th minutes to win 2-0.
Hannah Correa made five saves in net for Curry.
The Colonels will return three of their top five goal scorers next year, including leading goal scorer Mia Schena, who had seven goals on the season.
