Biddeford, ME - The Curry Women's Soccer team fell to the University of New England on Wednesday 2-1, falling to 5-8-3 on the season, and 1-4-2 in CNE play, while UNE is now 12-5-0 and 5-2-0.

The Nor'easters grabbed the lead in the 11th minute, but the Colonels were not deterred. They would find an equalizer in the 40th minute, as Kiera Lindmark scored right before halftime. Her goal was assisted by Maddie Resendes. But UNE would retake the lead in the 59th minute, and that would be all the scoring in the game.

The Colonels were outshot 20-4, and the Nor'easters won the corner kick battle 10-2.

Curry goalie Hannah Correa made eight saves.
