Women’s Soccer Knocked Down by Fighting Scots

WENHAM, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 4-0 by Gordon College Tuesday afternoon in a Conference of New England women's soccer match at Brigham Athletic Complex.

With the loss, the Colonels fall to an overall record of 5-7-2, and 1-3-1 in conference play.

Curry took a total of eight shots on goal throughout the contest with Maddie Resendes (Coventry, R.I.), Sage Carmody (Southington, Conn.), and Sarah Crusse (York, P.A.) taking two shots on target each.

Hannah Correa (Carver, Mass.) and Lexi Smardon (Scotland, Conn.) each played a half in goal for the Colonels, combining for 11 saves in the loss.

Curry College returns to action on Saturday, October 19th, to host CNE rival Suffolk on Senior Day beginning at 11 a.m.
