
MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 3-1 by Endicott College in a Conference of New England women's soccer match Friday afternoon at Walter M. Katz Field.
With the loss, the Colonels fall to an overall record of 3-4-2 and a conference record of 0-1-1.
After a first-half goal by the Gulls, the Colonels didn't stay down for long, scoring four minutes after Endicott in the 38th minute of play when Natalie Keenan (Haverhill, Mass.) crossed the ball in front of the goal, finding Catia Fernandes (Acushnet, Mass.) who finished the scoring play to tie the game at 1-1.
Hannah Correa (Carver, Mass.) and Lexi Smardon (Scotland, Conn.) split time in goal for the Colonels, combining for 10 saves in the loss.
Curry College returns to action on Wednesday, October 2nd, in a non-conference road match at Framingham State beginning at 7 p.m.
