Women's Soccer Drops Non-Conference Game at Wellesley

Wellesley, MA - The Curry Women's Soccer team fell in a non-conference match at Wellesley on Tuesday, falling 1-0. The Colonels are now 3-3-2 on the season, while the Blue are now 4-3-1.

In a game with plenty of shots, it was an early one that put the Blue ahead, as they scored in the 13th minute to go up 1-0. That would be the only goal of the first half. The Blue outshot the Colonels 7-6

The second half saw more shots, as Curry outshot the Blue 10-8. But The Colonels would be unable to find an equalizer.

The Colonels had plenty of opportunities, putting more shots on goal than Wellesley, 10-4. They also had five corner kicks to the Blue's one. Curry goalie Lexi Smardon made three saves in the loss. Jovi Goldstein led the Colonels with three shots, all on goal.
