MILTON, Mass. - Curry College drew with UMass Dartmouth 1-1 in a non-conference collegiate women's soccer game Saturday afternoon at Walter M. Katz Field.
With the tie the Colonels remain undefeated, sliding to an overall record of 2-0-1 on the season.
After a scoreless first half, the Colonels found themselves trailing by one when a foul just outside the box set up Adelina Young (Burrillville, R.I.) with a free kick in the 66th minute of play. Young ripped a shot that arced over the goalkeeper's outstretched hands and found the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1.
Hannah Correa (Carver, Mass.) played the entire game in goal for the Colonels, making three saves throughout the contest.
Curry College returns to action on Wednesday, September 11th, for a road match against Rhode Island College beginning at 7 p.m.
