MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 1-0 by Rhode Island College in a non-conference women's collegiate soccer match Thursday night at Walter M. Katz Field.
The only goal of the contest was scored by Serena Forte off a corner kick. She was assisted on the play by Karen Johnson-Hoffman.
Hannah Correa (Carver, Mass.) played the entire game in net for the Colonels, making four saves in the loss. The Colonels had seven total shots with three being on target.
Curry College (1-2-2) opens up conference play in a road game against Western New England University on Saturday (9/16) beginning at 12 p.m.
