Colonels Fall to Wellesley College in Non-Conference Action

WELLESLEY, Mass. - Curry College women's soccer fell to non-conference opponent Wellesley College 3-0 on the road Wednesday evening.

The first goal by the hosts came 23 minutes into the contest, Wellesley's Marleigh Ausbrooks pushing her side into the lead.

Wellesley College would quickly find the back of the net two more times in the second half of play, Elina Saab-Sunden and Willa McGough granting their side a 3-0 lead. The Colonels would be unable to find the back of the net on any attempts through regulation, falling to the non-conference side by a final score of 3-0. 

Curry's Hannah Correa (Carver, Mass.) marked five saves in the non-conference loss on the road.

The Colonels return to the field Saturday as they travel to face the University of New England to continue conference action at 3:30 PM.
