Lima and Stott Earn CCC Weekly Honors

MILTON, Mass. – Curry College senior Kaitlyn Lima (New Bedford, Mass.) has been named as Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week.  Lima played a huge role in the Colonels' 3-0 week, which included a pair of wins in conference play. She opened the week with a goal and an assists in a 3-2, non-conference victory against Rhode Island College. She then contributed scoring to a couple of 1-0 conference wins. She scored the only goal in the match against Western New England, recording the tally with less than three minutes to play, and registered the assist on the lone goal against Gordon.

 Senior goalkeeper Morgan Stott (Dartmouth, Mass.) has been named as Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week.  Stott had a three-win week for Curry, including a couple of clean sheets against conference opponents. She made five saves in the 3-2 non-conference victory over Rhode Island College before posting her two shutouts. Stott recorded six saves against Western New England and seven against Gordon with no margin for error as the Colonels won both matches 1-0. Overall she had a .900 save percentage this week and a 0.67 goals-against average.
