WSOC Picked to Finish Fifth in TCCC Preseason Poll

MILTON, Mass. - Endicott College has been selected as the favorite to win the 2009 TCCC women’s soccer championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league’s head women’s soccer coaches.
            Endicott College (16-3-3, 12-0-1 TCCC) received 9 of the 14 first-place votes in the 2009 TCCC preseason poll. Defending champion Roger Williams University was picked to finish second receiving the remaining five first-place votes. The University of New England and Gordon College were picked to finish third and fourth respectively.
            Teams received 14 points for every first place vote received, 13 points for second place votes, 12 points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote. First place votes are shown in parentheses.
