Women’s Lacrosse Bested by Nichols on Senior Day
Curry College was defeated 18-9 by Nichols College in a Conference of New England women’s lacrosse game Saturday afternoon at Walter M. Katz Field. Before the game, Curry recognized its seniors in a Senior Day ceremony.

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 18-9 by Nichols College in a Conference of New England women's lacrosse game Saturday afternoon at Walter M. Katz Field. Before the game, Curry recognized its seniors in a Senior Day ceremony.
With the loss, the Colonels' overall record falls to 4-10 and 1-5 in conference.
Natalie Keenan scored the first Curry goal of the game off a pass from Grayson Goolgasian with 3:10 remaining in the first quarter, marking 100 career goals for the senior. Samantha Sprissler opened the second quarter with an unassisted goal. Keenan scored two straight goals to end the period, earning the hat-trick and cutting the Bison lead to six (10-4).
Sarah Kelly scored back-to-back goals in the third period, while Ava Doyle, Nicole Michael, and Grayson Goolgasian scored three straight to close the game trailing 18-9.
Vivi Helquist played the entire game in net for the Colonels
Curry College returns to action on Tuesday, April 15th, for a conference matchup at Western New England beginning at 4 p.m.
