Women’s Lacrosse Stumped by Hawks

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 20-3 in a Conference of New England women's lacrosse game Saturday morning at Walter M. Katz Field.

With the loss, the Colonels drop to an overall record of 3-7 with a conference record of 0-2.

After zero goals in the first half, the Colonels scored three times in the second. The first goal was scored with five minutes remaining in the third when Grace Grosso found the back of the net on a free-position shot. Grayson Goolgasian was assisted by Nicole Michael for Curry's second goal halfway through the fourth and Ava Doyle scored the final Colonel goal late in the period.

Alexa Puopolo played the entire game in net for Curry, making 11 saves in the loss.

Curry College returns to action on Tuesday, April 1st, for a conference matchup against Hartford beginning at 4 p.m.
