Women's Lacrosse Claims #2 Seed in ECAC Tournament

CENTERVILLE, Mass. -- After finishing the regular-season with a 12-4 record, Worcester State University was selected as the No. 1 seed in the 2014 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England Women's Lacrosse Championship. The tournament is a four-team field with semifinal and championship rounds.

The semifinals and championship games will be hosted by Worcester State. In the first semifinal on Friday, May 9 Curry College (9-9) will face Rivier University (9-8) at 4 p.m. Worcester State University (12-4) will play Becker College (9-7) at 7 p.m. The semifinal winners will advance to the championship on Sunday, May 11 at 1 p.m.

Semifinals – Friday, May 9 at Worcester State University

No. 2 Curry College (9-9) vs. No. 3 Rivier University (9-8), 4 p.m.
No. 1 Worcester State University (12-4) vs. No. 4 Becker College (9-7), 7 p.m.

Championship – Sunday, May 11 Worcester State University

Two Semifinal Winners, 1 p.m.
