Biddeford, ME - The Curry Women's Basketball team fell to UNE on Wednesday, 63-46. The Colonels are now 7-17 on the season, and 4-13 in CNE play. The Nor'easters are now 14-10 and 11-6.
The Nor'easters got ahead early, and never really looked back. They would slowly grow their lead each quarter, winning each quarter by a handful of points. The Colonels would get within five points early in the second half, but never any closer.
The Colonels were led by Grace Fleuriel's 14 points off the bench. It was a career high for the freshman, one point more than her previous high of 13, which she had in her last game. The other Colonel in double digits was Sophie Hilbrunner with 13.
Up Next - The Colonels will wrap up their season on Saturday when they host Hartford at 12pm. Curry will celebrate their two seniors prior to the game.
