MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 85-47 by Roger Williams University in a Conference of New England women's basketball game Saturday afternoon at Dr. Eleanor Meyerhoff Katz Gymnasium.
With the loss, the Colonels' overall record falls to 7-14 and their conference record drops to 4-10.
The Colonels played their best basketball in quarter number four, led by Sophie Hilbrunner who had eight points in the period alone.
Hilbrunner was also the leading scorer for Curry, finishing with 16 points while falling one rebound short of the double-double with nine. Lauren Dunn scored eight of her 10 points in the first half while Grace Fleuriel and Lauren Morse scored eight points apiece.
Curry College returns to action on Tuesday, February 11th, in a road game against Gordon beginning at 5:30 p.m.
