Milton, MA - The Curry Softball team ended their season with two losses against Endicott on Saturday, falling 4-0 and 7-4. The Colonels end their season with a record of 17-21 overall, and 7-11 in CNE play. The Gulls, the CNE regular season champs, move on to the playoffs at 21-13 and 14-4.

Prior to the games the Colonels five seniors, Natalia O'Kleasky, Jillian Rogers, Jennelle Munoz, Hailey King, and Karle Pontes were recognized.

Game One

Coming off of a no-hitter in her last outing, Jillian Rogers kept pitching lights out, not allowing a hit until the fifth inning. A leadoff hit ended a streak of 10.1 hitless innings for the senior. This outing was highlighted by the second inning where Rogers struck out four batters. While the Gulls eventually got to Rogers for two runs in both the fifth and six innings, Rogers ended the day with 14 strikeouts. The Colonels had two hits in the game, both by Jennelle Munoz.

Game Two

While game one saw pitching dominate, game two was more offensive. The Colonels grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first on a Natalia O'Kleasky RBI double. It was O'Kleasky's 26th career double, putting her in a tie for the 11th most in program history. After the Gulls scored three runs in the third, the Colonels answered right back with three of their own in the bottom half of the inning. This time it was a pair of RBI singles from Jillian Rogers and Jenelle Munoz doing the damage, putting Curry back up 4-3. The Colonels seemed poised to break a 12-game losing streak to the Gulls, but Endicott would score four in the fifth to go up 7-4, and they would end up winning the game by the same score.

By coming in and pitching the last inning, Jillian Rogers actually just barely passed her teammate Woods in career innings pitched. Woods finished her career with 392.2 IP, while Rogers ended with 393. They rank 5th and 6th in program history. Rogers also finishes her career ranked in the top 10 in program history with 477 strikeouts (2nd), 91 appearances (3rd), 28 wins (7th), and 33 complete games (10th). Her K/7 ratio of 8.50 also ranks first, more than a strikeout per game better than anyone else.

O'Kleasky finishes her career with 149 games played, tied for the 12th most in program history. She ended her career with a s three hit game, just the fifth of her career.
