Alex was born in Bridgeport, Conn...is majoring in communication at Curry...the son of Lauren Welch and George Nason...has one younger brother, Logan...favorite spot on campus: Student Center...chose Curry for the communication major, its location, and the opportunity to compete in collegiate cross country

Before Curry:
Alex is a 2022 graduate of Oliver Ames High School in North Easton, Mass...competed in two years of varsity track & field and one year of varsity cross country for the Tigers...helped his team win three Hockomock League championships in cross country

2022:
Competed in six races for the Colonels...ran his fastest 8k time at 33:20.4 at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships on October 29 at UNE's Rotary Park
