Milton, MA - The Curry Men's Volleyball team fell to 4-6 on the season, as they were defeated for the second time this season by Elms College. Elms is now 3-6 on the season. Just like the first matchup between the two teams, the Blazers won in four sets.
Things began promising for the Colonels, as they took the first set in commanding fashion, taking it 25-16. But the next three sets were much closer, as the Blazers would grab them 25-20, 25-23, and 25-18.
On offense, the Colonels relied on Michael Swanigan (13 kills), Chris Milfort (8 kills), and Camron DeMello (7 kills). They were fed by Owen Hemenway (16 set assists) and Loden Broe (13 set assists). Four of those five also had double-digit digs, led by Swanigan's 14. Broe and Hemenway each also had a double-double with 11 and 10 digs each. Milfort was second on the team with 12 digs.
Up Next - The Colonels will look to bounce back on Saturday, as they head to Rivier for a tri-match that also features Regis.
