BEVERLY, Mass. - The Curry College men's tennis team was dropped by Endicott College by a final score of 8-1 Thursday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference play at the South Campus Tennis Courts.

With the defeat, Curry continues to seek its first win of the season at 0-13 overall and 0-6 in the CCC.

Curry's lone win of the day game at the fifth singles position, where senior David Monteiro (Fall River, Mass.). Monteiro rallied after dropped the first set in a tiebreaker to win set two 6-4 and 10-8 in the tiebreaker to earn Curry's only point of the afternoon.

Colonel senior Lorenzo Russo (Lynnfield, Mass.) also needed a tiebreaker to settle his match at first singles, but fell to Endicott's number one by a final of 3-6, 7-6 (7-0), 2-10.

Curry will be back in action on Saturday for a CCC contest at home against Wentworth at 12 p.m.
