SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has announced its 2019 Men's Tennis All-Conference Teams and junior Aidan Roach (Norwell, Mass.) has been named a First Team All-CCC Singles selection. Roach then paired with senior Richie Hefler (Canton, Conn.) as the duo was tabbed as a Third Team All-CCC Doubles selection.
Roach lands on the First Team after a regular season where he went 10-8 at the No. 1 spot for the Colonels. This marks the third straight year that Roach has earned All-Conference accolades as he was a Third Team selection as a freshman and a Second Teamer last season.
Roach collected another conference honor, teamed up with Hefler, being named to the Third Team All-CCC Doubles team. The duo played 18 matches together at the No. 1 doubles spot, concluding the regular season with a 6-12 record.
Roach, Hefler, and Curry (4-14 overall, 2-5 CCC) have qualified for the CCC Championship Tournament for the first time since 2010 as the No. 6 seed and will visit third-seeded Roger Williams on Saturday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m.
