Men's Tennis Grabs Sixth Seed in CCC Championship Tournament, Visits RWU Saturday

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – For the first time since 2010, the Curry College men's tennis team has qualified for the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship Tournament. The Colonels enter the tournament field as the No. 6 seed and will visit three-seeded Roger Williams on Saturday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m.

The other quarterfinal matchup pins fifth-seeded Endicott against No. 4 seed Gordon. That match will take place on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The winner of the Gulls and Fighting Scots contest will travel to top-seeded Nichols College for a semifinal matchup on Wednesday, May 1. The victor between the Colonels and the Hawks will square off against two-seed Western New England University in the second semifinal on Wednesday, May 1. Match times will be determined at the end of the first round.

The two semifinal winners will advance to the 2019 CCC Men's Tennis Championship match on Saturday, May 4. The winner of the title match will be named the 2019 CCC Men's Tennis Champion and earns the conference's automatic bid into the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship.
