The two teams split the six singles matches. Colby-Sawyer got wins at #1 from Gustav Norberg, who defeated Gregory Kirschner, 7-6, 6-1; #2 from Ben Dabush, who defeated Charlie Edlund, 6-1, 6-2; and #4 from Chris Lavoie, who defeated Tyler Dulmage, 6-1, 6-3.
Curry earned singles points at #3, as Brian Leahy defeated Adam Whitman, 6-3, 6-4; #6, as Ben Radzicki defeated Jamie Thormann, 6-4, 6-3; and #5, as J.D. Moyer defeated Robert Barnes in three sets, capturing the third-set tiebreaker, 15-13.
The visitors captured two of three doubles contests: Norberg and Whitman knocked off Leahy and Kirschner, 8-5, at #1, while Dabush and Barnes took care of Radzicki and Edlund, 8-2, at #2. The hosts took the #3 doubles contest as Dulmage and Moyer captured an 8-6 decision over Thormann and Lavoie.
Curry hosts Eastern Nazarene on April 15 at 3:00 p.m. while Colby-Sawyer travels to Nichols on April 17 for a 12:00 p.m. contest.
