Men’s Lacrosse Halted by Roger Williams

BRISTOL, RI - The Curry College Men's Lacrosse team was defeated by Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Roger Williams University 12-4 Saturday afternoon. 

With the loss, Curry dips to 3-8 overall and 0-3 in the CCC.

The hosting Hawks took a quick lead in the conference matchup, finding the back of the net on four occasions in the first eight minutes of play. 

The Colonels marked their first goal of the game 12 minutes into the first quarter, junior midfielder Nick Perfetuo (Norwell, Mass.) netting his seventh goal of the season. Just three minutes later, Curry sophomore attacker Stephen Stackhouse (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) closed the Hawks' lead with a goal assisted by Robbie Tartaglia (Wrentham, Mass.). 

Curry brought Roger Williams' lead to just one with the sole goal of the second quarter. Sophomore midfielder, Connor Bryant (Methuen, Mass.) tallied Curry's third goal of the day, assisted by Nick Perfetuo

The Colonels led off the scoring in the second half, Connor Bryant finding his second of the afternoon after intercepting a pass from Hawks' defender Hunter Goodrow and zipping a shot past Max Kimmel, tieing the contest at 4-4.
Roger Williams found momentum in the second half, scoring eight unanswered goals and taking the conference victory at home, 12-4. 

Curry was led by Connor Bryant who marked two goals on ten shots in the loss on the road.

Curry gets back out on the field Saturday (4/9) as they travel to take on Nichols College at 4 PM for more conference action.
